Captain Lenny took us 18 miles east of our inlet today. There were no lack of readings and we had some really nice drifts that lasted over an hour. We started catching mackerel real good with them being small to medium and some large mixed in with plenty of them around. The boats were all spread out and everyone was filling buckets and coolers full of mackerel. It ended up being an excellent day and the weather is looking good for this week.
