We had another day of excellent striper & bluefishing today aboard Miss Belmar! We started out where we left off on Monday and had 3-4 spectacular drifts where we caught some stripers, shorts and blues. When that died down, we made a move a few miles to the North where we saw plenty of bait and bird life and we caught more. Our high hook Warren, our good customer, caught 8 keeper stripers, some shorts and blues, keeping only his limit of three stripers and he let the rest go. There was plenty of action today and the boat limited out by 12:00 p.m with most everyone catching their bonus tag as well.
Our pool winner was Mike with a 14.7 lb striper.
The weather is looking good the next few days and we are definitely sailing this weekend at 7:30 a.m. for blues and stripers.
