Captain's Focus

November 15th, 2011

Over the weekend, the fishing conditions were not that good. With high winds and rough seas it made it very hard to catch fish due to a fast drift. Even with the tough conditions a few customers caught their limits but overall it was very slow. Yesterday no one sailed due to high winds and rough conditions.

Today, Captain Lenny  reported we started out picking at some stripers early in the morning with an occasional blue. We had some some drifts we picked away on with a few throw backs. The last half of the day was slow, even though we read the fish, they just did not want to cooperate. There are still plenty of fish and plenty of readings. Ed, Alex & Earle from Allentown, PA along with Phillis Jackson from Patterson, NJ all limited out.

We would like to wish a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to AJ McGowan from Oceanport, NJ who not only had his limits today, but was also our pool winner with a 21 lb 4 oz striper! Way to go AJ!
