Captain's Focus

November 8th, 2011

Captain Lenny Forsyth reported it was a gorgeous day fishing today! We could not have asked for a nicer fall day. We ended up fishing in the same place we have been for the last week. There were plenty of fish around on top and readings. We were only able to pick away at the stripers along with some blues. Part of the reason we were only able to pick away and we had a slower day today compared to yesterday was because we had no drift and no current. A few drifts produced a decent pick on the stripers. The fish ranged from 29" - 36" on the stripers and the blues were 4-12 lbs. Bernie McGill, Yield Chen, Nikoliy Grigoriychuk,  Dave Corino and George McDonald all had their limits and caught some blues as well.

Our pool winner was  Jeff Rubin from Hoboken, NJ with a 24.5 lb striper and limited out.
