Today, Captain Scott Gold fished to the N of the Belmar inlet with a small group of people. We had gusty NW winds of 25 knots with a fast drift, but it did not stop us from catching plenty of stripers and blues! We had a great day with the striped bass and blues catching more than 15 keeper stripers and lost quite a few too. We had a few customers that limited out on stripers today with some great action. Also, the blue fishing was red hot with them ranging from 3-16 lbs.
Our pool winner was Tom Deshia from Trenton, NJ with a 16.3 lb blue.       Â
