Captain's Focus

September 30th, 2011

Friday night Captain Scotty headed out to the East of the inlet.  We found a very nice reading of blues and anchored up.  As soon as we came tight on the anchors it was game on.  We started the night off holding 4-6 on with shots of 8-10, and at one point we had up to 20 on.  This fishing held up until about midnight and then slowed once the conditions became unfavorable.  Most of the fish were caught on sinker rigs, we needed the weight with the conditions. The blues ranged from 12-14lbs and limit catches were common.  The pool fish weighed in at a whopping 17 lbs.  There is still a very large body of blues to the East and we hope that this good night fishing continues.
