Captain Lenny Forsyth reported we had good, solid fishing aboard Miss Belmar today. It took a little while to get them going but once they started to bite, we held them all day holding 3-6 most of the day. We fished 17 miles offshore and the blues ranged from 5-12 lbs. We were catching them on both bait and jigs, whichever you prefer.
Mike Brennan from West Colliers, NJ and James McDerman from Park Ridge, NJ limited out.
Our pool winner was Vinny Daino from Hazlet, NJ with a 12 lb 6 oz blue.
