Captain's Focus

September 20th, 2011

Captain Scotty reported we got a slow start this morning at the first two stops. They produced a few fish but the conditions were horrible and the current was screaming in to the wind. We made a move and saw the readings we wanted, anchored up and immediately went in to battle. There was a lot of action and lots of limits around the boat. Most were caught on jigs, some on bait, and we caught a couple false albacore.

Our pool winner was Vincent Granazzio from Howell, NJ with a 13.8 lb blue.

We are going to have special trips for Albacore and Bonita starting at 6:00 a.m. real soon. I will have the schedule for you in a couple of days!
