Captain's Focus

July 15th, 2011

Captain Scotty said they had a good crowd for last night's blue fishing. Started off slow around 28 miles east of the inlet. Around midnight they started catching and they had their best fishing last night in the past couple of weeks. They got in a little later at 3:30am and had 6-8 fish on at a time.

This morning Captain Lenny Forsyth said it was a beautiful day on the ocean today. Picked away on big blues up to 15 lbs. Nice long drifts chumming & chunking. Ava 47 jigs worked best and some were caught on bait. No problems finding readings to stop on and there's still plenty of fish around!
