07/06/15 We started the day with good drifting conditions in an area we found fish yesterday. It was slow for us today in that area as the fish either moved or did not want to bite so we moved on and found OKAY fishing in an area that we have not been to in some time. It was the usual mix of keepers and shorts with some BEAUTIES finding their way into the coolers as well!! Bob Mobius, Pompton Lakes, NJ, took the pool with a 9 POUND 11 OUNCE NEAR-MAT which was his personal best!! Wayne Pinder, Green Brook, NJ, had an 8 pound 2 ounce fish as well as a 4 pound 3 ounce fish. Some QUALITY fish being caught on a daily basis with both spro set ups and natural baits each producing.
