Captain's Focus

11/28/14

Very good one stop togging today!! The "breeze" forecast turned out to be 25-35 mph with some higher gusts which did not really matter because once we got anchored up the fish bit VERY WELL and steady pretty much all day long on the piece and we never had to touch the anchors until it was time to come home. Lots of action with a bunch of quality fish and a number of the guys ending up with easy limits despite the conditions. Wayne Pinder, Red Bank, NJ, had his limit and the 8 pound pool fish. Dennis O' Brien, South Bound Brook, NJ, had a bunch of NICE fish and kept his limit. Tom Hollywood, Staten Island, NY, Ken Smith, Carteret, NJ, "Big John" Porada, Pompton Lakes, NJ, and others all had limits. Togging the way we like it! Almost all of the fish today were caught on green crabs.
