NICE FISH TODAY!!!! Yesterday we had to deal with a STRONG south wind which severly limited where we could fish. We fished with the rest of the fleet and had a very slow day with only a handful of keepers and some shorts for the guys to show for their efforts. Tom Hollywood Sr., Staten Island, NY, and John Porada, Pompton Lakes, NJ, tied for the pool. Today we had no wind so we tried a totally different area and were very happy with the fishing we found! The guys had a bunch of NICE fish with several being between 5 and 7 1/2 pounds!! Current was not a problem and we got in several drifts before the bite finally died. John Gadomski, Staten Island, NY, had several keepers including a 5 pound 4 ounce fish. Joe Stefanelli, Maplewood, NJ, ended up with a couple of keepers up to his 5 pound 10 ounce fish. Dave Brink, Middletown, NJ, had a 5 pound 10 ounce fish for his largest of the day. Dustin Blanchard, Springfield, NJ, was happy with his 6 pound 6 ounce fish. Bill Boyko, Lake Shawnee, NJ, had four keepers which included the 7 pound 5 ounce pool winning beauty. There are still plenty of NICE fish around if the conditions are fishable in certain areas and if you are willing to work for them!!! The last day of the 2014 fluke season is Saturday, September 27, so get your shots in before the season closes!!

We have been unable to post pictures the past several days. When the problem is rectified we will post ALL REPORT AND GALLERY PICTURES starting with 9/17!!
