8.9 POUND POOL WINNER!! The string of good fishing that we have had in the ocean for the past week continued today. Fished two areas and had loads of action to go along with the keepers. Very little wind gave us good drifting conditions for much of the day. Young Lee, Palisades Park, NJ, took the pool with an 8 pound 9 ounce BEAUTY which beat out Ronnie Neira, Old Bridge, NJ, who had a very nice 7 pound 8 ounce fish of his own! Spros, gulps and natural baits have all been putting lots of nice fish in the coolers lately. There is usually a pretty light crowd on Labor Day so come down and enjoy a relaxing day on the water.
