We were looking for back to back doormats but, unfortunately, it was not in the cards for us today! We fished the same general area that has been producing very well the past week and were happy with the fishing once again. Wind and current together made for a quicker drift than we have had all week but still very fishable. The heavier rods came in handy today and the guys who had them did well with lots of short action and a bunch of keepers to take home. The guys using the light fresh water rods did NOT do as well!! I can only make suggestions! Tom Hollywood, Sr., Staten Island, NY, recovered nicely from yesterday's good-natured ribbing and had an early limit today. Mike Scher, Cranford, NJ, had four nice keepers which included the 6 pound 5 ounce pool fish. John, Pompton Lakes, NJ, had four keepers up to 5 pounds 5 ounces. Rider Heckman, Whitehall, PA., age 7, caught a very nice 5 pound 3 ounce fish which is the largest of his young fishing career!! These fish will not be around forever so get your shots at them while the getting is good. See you in the morning.
