07/31/14 It was a decent day on the fluke grounds. Had more short action than we have been seeing the past several days. Picked a few keepers a drift for much of the day with the best of the fishing coming when the wind and current finally got together in the same direction. Most of the guys went home with dinner. Jim Schmit, East Hanover, NJ, had three keepers which included the 4 pound 9 ounce pool fish. Tomorrow's wind forecast sounds like we should get a better drift for the area that we have been fishing.
