Fished one of the channels this morning and found nice steady action with almost all QUALITY keepers on each drift. Left the area when the drift finally died and the bite stopped. Got in one nice long drift at one of the other channels to finish the day and had a good mix of shorts and quality fish once again until we left to come home. A beautiful day with a bunch of nice fish...what more could one ask for?? Jim Lohse, Union, NJ, ended up with four nice fish up to 5 pounds 7 ounces and tied for the pool with Matt Dalton, Mt. Olive, NJ, who also had an identical 5 pound 7 ounce fish as part of his catch. Dave Brink, Middletown, NJ, wound up with four quality fish up to 5 pounds 2 ounces. Carol Pierce, Wrightstown, NJ, had a 4 pound 11 ounce fish of her own.

We ARE planning on fishing tomorrow and already know of guys coming down!! We are fishing in the bay where dire warnings of "rip tides", "rough surf", "large swells" etc. will not affect us one bit so come enjoy the holiday on the water!! See you in the morning!!
