BIG FISH KEEP CHEWIN'!! Fished the same general areas as yesterday and the big boys were waiting for us again today. Had a perfect current first thing this morning and had some big fish on each of the first few drifts. Once the tide finally changed late morning the strong southerly wind came with it. We managed a couple more GOOD drifts with more big fish before the gnarly conditions made us find a different area to finish the day. By that time our day was already made! Bill Yu, Palisades Park, NJ, had several keepers and took the pool with his 7 pound 5 ounce fish. Bill's friend, Kenny Kim, Wayne, NJ, had a 6 pound 2 ounce fish as part of his catch. Wayne Pinder, Red Bank, NJ, had his limit up to 5 pounds 10 ounces. Jim Lohse, Union, NJ, ended up with four keepers between 3 pounds 12 ounces and 6 pounds 3 ounces. Art Garrett, Red Bank, NJ, had a 5 pound 3 ounce fish for his largest. Tiny Goldman, Brick, NJ, had a 5 pound 4 ounce fish and Frank Lavelle, Jersey City, NJ, had a 5 pound 5 ounce fish. Hoping for another repeat tomorrow!!! See you in the morning.
