Started the day in one of the channels where we have had some very nice fish recently but had no current and only a few keepers there today. Moved on to other areas and managed a few quality fish in each of them along with some shorts. Jim Lohse, Union, NJ, had three very nice keepers including fish of 4 pounds, 4 pounds 12 ounces and the 7 pound 9 ounce pool fish!! Natural baits and spro rigs have both been putting nice fish in the coolers lately. Should get an extra hour of current in the deeper water first thing tomorrow morning so we will see what happens.
