After the last couple windy days the boys were treated to a great day on the water both fishing and weatherwise. We had lots of action this morning with an equal mix of shorts and keepers which lasted until around noon. Once the tide changed and the southerly wind started to blow the bite finally died but everyone was already happy. Mike Naipawer, Bloomingdale, NJ, took the pool with a 16 pound fish. We will be blackfishing tomorrow and Sunday at 7 AM before returning to daily striped bass fishing until the opening of fluke season.
