Except for the swell left over from yesterday's wind it was a great December weather day on the blackfish grounds! Started the day where we have been fishing lately and had our best fishing on the first couple of spots this morning with a nice mix of keepers and shorts until the strong outgoing current came through and slowed the bite. Moved inshore a bit to get away from the current but found it there as well for the rest of the day. The bow and stern picked most of the fish on the last couple of spots with the current. The last couple of days the current helped the bite while today it did not. That's fishing! Still ended up with guys having their limits. Wayne Pinder, Red Bank, NJ, had his limit and the pool fish. Another great weather day on tap tomorrow so lets catch some togs!! (Click here to see pictures)
