ANOTHER GOOD DAY OF FLUKING

The past 3 days, the fluking has undergone a mega change, going from so-so to decent to better to good. It has been a tough season for fluke fisherman and I have heard all the "logic" as to why the fishing has been slower than in the past. With the great improvement in the past few days, I am keeping my fingers crossed that the fish have moved into our area and we will have a banner end to the season. The last couple of days, we have seen bright sunny skies and calm seas, even if the weather persons were putting "surf scares" into the public. We have had quite a few families aboard this week and it is great to see the youngsters get excited about fishing, what a great way to share quality family time. Some of the pool winners are Dan 4.4lbs, Pat Rancona 6.5lbs, Victor 5.5lbs, Gregg 5lbs, Tom 4.5lbs. Today, our best day of the season notable catches are Mike Klein on the am trip with his limit and the pool fish at 5lbs, Frank missed his limit by 1 fish with his biggest at 4lbs. Several anglers had 2 or 3 fish and there was non stop action on the shorts. Oh I almost forgot, dad James was out with his son Dylan on the afternoon trip and Dylan landed the pool fish.
