AUGUST 20 UPDATE

Well every time I say fishing is good, it turns around and slows down. We are still getting the bigger fish and action on shorts, but not as many fish as the past few trips. Yesterday was family day on both trips and the kids had a blast, getting excited when anyone got a fish. Of course they and their parent/grandparent were invited up to the pilot house to see how things work. Sometimes I think the kids enjoy this more than the entire fishing trip. Don't have the names of yesterday pool winners, but this afternoon Gina Laufer had a pair of fluke for dinner as well as the big fish of the day. Two of the three Dennis's were out (grandpa and grandson) and they got 2 fluke and a sea bass. Slow fishing, light "crowd" but a great bunch of anglers. Pics will be up soon
