MAY 21 UPDATE

OPENING DAY FOR FLUKE  FRIDAY MAY 23  1/2 DAY FLUKE TRIPS BEGIN

2 TRIPS EVERY DAY.  8AM-12:30 PM.  AND.  1:30 PM-6 PM

Striper fishing has been up and down the past several trips with pool fish between 15 and 24 lbs. The blues have been around the last couple of trips, but they are an annoyance to most anglers aboard. The spring run has not been what we have had for the past several years, some say it is the cold waters and that the stripers are a month behind and should be showing up soon. It is what it is and now it is time for Opening Day of fluke and our 1/2 Day schedule.

This week's pool winners were N. Plainfield Johnny, Luis, Andy, and Ralph.  I would like to thank Billy Church for bringing out a group of NYPD on Saturday, they are a great group of guys and we were glad they were aboard.

If you don't see your picture in the report, go to Catches of the Week or photo album. You can download a copy from there.

Jeremy, Jake and I are looking forward to seeing our past 1/2 anglers and expecting to see some newfaces.     If you have not fished with us, give us a try. Always a family atmosphere, with the most experienced Captain and a professional and courteous crew.
