Summer Action Holds Up

Wednesday, July 09, 2014

Fishing this past week has been pretty good with Seabass and Ling, and some nice Flounder and Cod also in the catch. Even though Seabass is down to three a man, there are some nice bass coming in. Catches of 10 to 25 a man is common. There have also been limit catches of Flounder. Frank Abreola was out yesterday and had three Seabass, two Flounder, and 17 Ling for his catch. Jack Mowen and his friend John caught 6 keeper Seabass and 15 Ling between them. Ben Dixon won the pool with a 12 pound Cod and he also had three Seabass and 20 Ling. This fishing should hold up because the water is still pretty chilly.
