10/19/14: The sea bass are running! They ran away from some fishermen, and ran to others. For the first day, Saturday, the weather was nice, there was a slight swell but nothing like what they (NOAA) predicted. Some guys had 8 to 10 fish, and others had 3 to 6, and some had less. The lucky one was Joseph Liebhart of Jersey City, NJ, who won with a nice 4-lb trigger fish. Also, Tom Lipiros of Margate, NJ won on Sunday with a nice 3-lb trigger. Sunday was extremely windy so we only sailed for 4 hours, the fishing was slow and it was a wise choice to cut the day short.

The CAIII will be sailing daily all of this week. Please check the weather, and pick a nice day to come. Let's get a few of these fish on our plates before they leave. Sea you there. Oh, Lou we have your car key.
