Captain's Focus

I never thought we would catch what we did today, especially when the morning started out with my favorite "Wind Against the tide Crap"! Had a hard incoming running into a strong North wind, made our first stop and had fish on right away! Most of them keepers. Kept hitting the same area until we couldn't drift anymore.  Annie started the day off catching a pool leading 5 pounder.

Made a move like yesterday waiting for the out-going and what I thought was going to be a short bite once the current got running...once again I was wrong. The bite turned on... Tom (the Hammer) who was our big pool leader was back to old form leading the way catching his limit and taking the pool with a very nice 6.6 pound fish.

Couple guys had their limit also including, Egg Man Dave, Dave B., Capt. Ron Sr.... Several guys with 4 nice keepers...Billy in the Bow, Moe, Jaques and a few others. Jimmy was back today after yesterdays SHORT filled catch, to put 2 nice fish in the box!

Lot's of short action and despite the BS weather report of Rough sea's, it was a great day on the water!! Weather looks great for tomorrow, when the fish are biting, don't listen to the weather man, call the Captain and get the truth. Many customers missed a great day today, not only for me but everyone in the fishing business.

Can't wait to get back out there tomorrow!

Capt. Ron
