Captain's Focus

Light gang today with the weather report of showers and thunderstorms.....That didn't happen!
Caught the start of the outgoing and fished it till it got too strong. Picked away on mostly shorts until we had two drifts of the day.

Dave Bachovchin landed his limit of 5 keepers, while Big Al took his first pool of the season with a very nice 25 inch, 6 3/4 pounder. Couple other nice fish in the mix but it was still tough fishing to say the least.
I'm not gonna go on about the light rods and heavy weight as I have been through it a thousand times. All I can say is, please come prepared. Why miss the bite when you have to fish with 10 ounces and your rod can't handle it?

Not sailing Thursday and we are Chartered Saturday Morning.
Capt. Ron
