Captain's Focus

After yesterdays bite I knew we had a short window of opportunity before the current would start to scream! Made our first drift on the start of the outgoing not much current so we power drifted. First 5 fish in the boat were all nice big keepers from 4 to 7 pounds!!

Tom Krako had the first 7 pounder of the day and took the lead for the daily pool. Ran back to make another drift, same results as the bite was on. Dan Seeney, Union Beach took the lead for the day and ended up with a 7.1 pound beauty, just beating Tom's fish by an ounce!
Best fishing was on the bait today.

By the end of the third drift it was way too fast so we took a bit of a ride, glad we did as we had another 3 drifts with all quality fish including Rich Mullenbrock's 5 1/2, 3 fish at 6 pounds and Eddies 5 pounder.
When the bite shut down like yesterday, it was game over. Made a couple more drops to only find a couple fish.

Great day on the water with an excellent group of customers.
