Captain's Focus

Weather kept the customers home today but we were lucky enough to get out. Rain started shortly after we started fishing and continued for the day but the diehards aboard toughed it out and caught some very nice Fluke.

84 year old Dick Monroe from Dunellen N.J. and a visitor to us from the Sea Horse started the day off with the first fish, a 6 1/2 pound beauty. Told me he couldn't catch a ten pounder because he had to save that for the Sea Horse and the big pool, so what does he do? An hour later I tell him I'm gonna hit a good piece of bottom, use the last live snapper and you'll catch a big one...Sure enough, 2 minutes into the drift he hooks into another great fish, this one takes the money at 8 1/2 pounds!!! Awesome smile on that young man's face today.

Billy Yurkovitch also had a 5 1/2, a 4 and a 3 1/2 pounder fishing in the bow with Mr. Monroe. Big Al had a nice 4 pounder also today.

Weather should clear up overnight for a good day tomorrow, especially if the wind goes west.
Will post pics as soon as I get the new cord for my camera.
Capt. Ron
