Captain's Focus

Gotta give Vinnie "Vintastic"credit, the guy sticks to his convictions. The bait has been out-fishing the bucktailers just about everyday (with the exception of a few). Told him this in the AM but the guy never stopped working. Fished through the incoming with just a couple shorts, waiting for the right bite. It came on the next to last drift as he set up on a beautiful 6.2 pound Fluke to take the pool once again!!
Fished some new area's today as I wasn't feeling good about the wind against all morning. Didn't find much life except some ling, sea bass and some short Fluke.
Caught the change of tide and rode it out till it got too fast catching shorts and keepers. Fished the mussels at the end of the day and had our best action as we drifted at 2.1 knots!!!!! Go Figure.
Never had to work so hard in all my life to catch fish!!!

Capt. Dan is catching the Stripers!! Two night's ago it was an all night bite on fish up to 18 pounds...last night he had good action with more smaller fish in the mix. Loads of bait in the area to keep the fish here and the Porgie fishing opens up on July 1st for an added bonus to the night trips!!
