Captain's Focus

Sad too say but, without the Monday regs it just wasn't the same today! Felt like a stranger on my own boat (with the exception of a few)!!

Just a handful of customers braved the weather report, so we gave it hell.
Last of the incoming and waiting through the change was a pain I wouldn't wish on anyone...
As the current started to run out, the wind started to pick up out of the NE.... Ocean was out, Clam drop was out, the Reach...a disaster.
Condition's were the worst they could be, that on top of the rain squalls coming through sapped all the strength I had to make it a good day, not one to quit but I did throw in the towel today after catching 2 keeper bass and not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. With 10 of the 12 customers in the cabin, I knew it was time to quit.

The bright spot is Capt. Bob has been catching fish on the afternoon trips. Fishing local drops, the bass seem to be on the bite later in the day...will hang in there until the Fluke fishing picks up.

Better days ahead for sure. Not sailing Tuesday Morning and please check back for Wednesdays trip.
Chartered Saturday Morning.

Thanks! Capt. Ron
