Captain's Focus

Finally some new fish have arrived and they are hungry!!

Headed out this morning with the intention of running down the beach were I saw the wild life yesterday. Didn't have to go that far as it was right in our own backyard!

Miles of Gannets and sea gulls diving on bait. Sand eels, herring and bunker from what we could see. Started out tough to catch them with fish busting all around the boat, very frustrating to say the least. We threw everything at them with only a pick to show for the effort. Once the tide eased off and we didn't drift at 2.5 knots, the fish settled up and the bite was on!

Cliff and Big Al had over 30 fish each, shorts and keepers with thier limit. Tom {Hammer} Krako, landed the fish of the day at 15 pounds for the pool, keeping with his tradition of butt kickin bassin for the 2011 season. I even got to toss a line in between doing the video and staying on the fish to bring my 2 to the table!

It ain't over boys and girls, don't wait till it's too late! Check out the video and pics of todays action!!!! Hope to see you soon.
