Been jig fishing the past couple days. Lots of Bird life, plenty of Bait, plenty of fish...but they are very tough to catch, to say the least!

We stop with fish busting all around the boat and toss Ava', Shads, 007's, crippled herring, you name it, to land only a couple fish. Some big blue fish in the mix on today's trip as well.

The rain fish are in abundance this season. The lack of Sand eels, bunker and herring  is certainly hurting the bite.  Back at it tomorrow.
