Headed out to the channels first thing in the AM for the last of the incoming tide.
Picked a few fish, some nice keepers but the drift was down to nothing. Bounced around waiting for some current, when it did come, it came hard!! Made 2 knots in no time so we headed out of there.
Christy Natoli, PA, landed the pool fish today at 6 1/4 pounds!
Fished shallower water in SH channel for a pick on shorts and a few keepers.....Tangles gallore once the current got going. Looks like the heat is going to break tomorrow, finally !Â
