06/15/2014 The Bill Zuchero charter joined us today for a day of Striper fishing. It was tough making bait this AM so Paul decided to sail north and put out the Trolling gear. Our first 7 fish were large Bluefish and by mid morning it did not look good. At the tide change the Bass cooperated and we put a couple in the box. Then the bite dried up until the next tide change and thats when we trolled another couple of Bass. A call from Capt's Jim (Cock Robin) and Capt. Rich (Golden Eagle) put us on the fish closer to home. We live lined another Bass and lost a few. We ended the day with 5 Bass the 2 largest weighing in at 40 & 38 lbs. All the Trolled Bass were taken on Terminal Grade Tackle Spoons. It was another good day of fishing with a good crew. They will be back in a few weeks. Spots are still Open for the scheduled Open Boat Seabass trips on June 23rd & 28th. Call me at 732-323-8700 to reserve your spot.
