Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing September 7

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips everyday from the Atlantic Highlands marina. Today the current and the wind made for some pretty tough drifting conditions. We did not fish in the deep water but heavy weights were needed. There was a lot of action with the shorts and some nice size keepers were caught. Ben had the big fish of the morning with a 7 lber and Rob was a close second with a 6 plus lber. We also had a handful of keepers in the 4 to 5 lb range. On the afternoon trip the fishing was a bit better. It was still a fast drift but with less wind. We had more keepers with Kent Mosely and Bobby Brazickie having the two biggest  of the afternoon (Bobby also had 3 keepers). You can see these new pictures and the others in the gallery. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm).  Looking forward to seeing everyone.
