Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing September 2

We have made both morning and afternoon trips from the Atlantic Highlands marina everyday. Yesterday ( Monday September 1) we saw plenty of action. As usual the shorts outnumbered the keepers but we were able to have a good amount of keepers on both trips. The big fish of the day was a 8.1 lb beauty caught by Andrew Wronski from Linden on the afternoon trip. Today the morning was better than the afternoon. Both trips had good action but the morning had more keepers. Overall the past few days have been some of the better days of the season. Hopefully the fishing will to continue.  Sometimes the drift can be pretty fast so you might need some heavy weights. There are some new pictures in the gallery so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
