Atlantic Highlands fluke fishing August 27

We have been making both morning and afternoon trips everyday from the Atlantic Highlands marina. On the morning trip today we fished in Sandy hook channel. The fishing was as good as you want with plenty of action with everyone catching fish. There were a lot of shorts caught but only a few keepers. On the afternoon trip the wind picked up out of the southeast and the conditions were no good. We were able to move onto the Flynns Knoll area where it was calmer with better drifting conditions. The short action was not as good as the morning but we were able to end the afternoon with more keepers than the morning. We have not seen the rough seas and strong rip current that the media hype has been talking about and if the ocean does get rough we always have the bay to fish in. There are some new pictures in the gallery from the past few days so take a look. We are sailing everyday making two trips (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm). Looking forward to seeing everyone.
