We have been making both morning and afternoon trips from the Atlantic Highlands marina. The fishing the past few days has been slow. We have been fishing different areas in Sandy Hook bay. Most of the fish have been shorts with only a few keepers. Today we seen an improvement. The action and amount of keepers on the morning was one of the better trips. The conditions on the afternoon trip were not as good and neither was the fishing but still better than the past few days. The weather for tomorrow does not look good. The forecast is for east wind and rain. Hopefully the bad weather will pass by quickly and Thursday will be OK. We make two trips everyday (8am to 12:30 and 1:30 to 6pm).
