Atlantic Highlands porgy &seabass fishing September26

The porgy fishing continues to be real good. The action has been the same on both the morning and afternoon trips. Most of them are keepers with some shorts. We were allowed to keep seabass today with a lot of them caught but more shorts than keepers. But between the two everyone is going home with a nice catch for dinner and then some for the freezer. We have been using #4 hooks and small baits with great results. Sometimes the current is strong so you might want to bring a light and heavy rod (might need to use 8 oz weights). The crew has been doing a good job filleting or gutting them. Keep checking the gallery for new pictures. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
