8-18-14 Very flat,,very calm,,,not much action to start fish wise this morning,,after a few drifts only a few keepers came up..Wacky conditions kept changing our drift or gave us no drift at times..Sometimes we would drift west,,then it would change and we would go back out east over the same drift...weird but that the ocean,,,,some guys caught fish today and did  well...high hook had a limit of fluke,,nice ones up to 7lbs...few 3-5 lb.range...few guys had 3-4,,some two or one but it was very limited to some of the guys up front,,those who were casting jigs all day caught em,,not all of em but some...Some guys had some fish in the back and a few up the sides but not good for most of the crowd,,,You really had to work at it today get into the fish,,,again the conditions did not help most....but there were some very nice fish landed,,I gotta get some pics up in the morning..I left the picture card on the boat...Any way see ya for coffee tomorrow..pics up in the morning...
