Captain's Focus

Headed out this morning with the Joe Manhart charter for their annual blackfish trip. Made our way through the fog and got set up just as the fog lifted. Had some life right away with shorts and a few keepers coming into the boat. Had to keep adjusting the anchors to sit on the piece with the horrible conditions. Eventually we lost our bite. Tried a little deeper but no good. One more stop and the guys built up some life with some nice quality 3-8 lb fish coming over the rail. Did get one very nice one that doubled over the rod and we knew we had a good one on. Tipped the certified scale at the marina to 14.8 lbs. Ended the day with a total of 24 keepers.
