Captain's Focus

AM - This morning we headed out on our open boat bass trip. Started off eeling with only a few bites. As the sun came up so did the life. Switched to the jigs and shads and had a pick of shorts and keepers. Once the boat traffic got heavy,  we took a ride and ran into fish rolling on the surface. Two more drifts and we had our limit and started playing catch and release with bass and blues. Once the blues took over, we called it and early day. Ended the day with our limit of 12 keepers to 27 lbs some shorts and plenty of blues to 12 lbs.

PM - This afternoon we hosted Whit, Kevin, Tom and Ken for some bass fishing. With the wind picking up we decided to stay local and it was the right choice. Fish spraying bunker school after bunker school. The guys managed to land 9 keepers to 25 lbs on live bunker and top water plugs.
