5-19-14 Opening day of sea bass fishing was really nice,,and we had an all star cast of fisherman show up to take advantage of the nice weather...Overall I was very happy with the fishing...for a large crowd which we usually get on opening day,,,we had good life on most spots we stopped today..We had some real quality sea bass come up as you can see in the pics below here,,,no giant numbers but just a spread of spread of fish around the boat...Some guys did better than others,,some parts of the boat had better shots at em,,but overall everyone went home with some fish...The amount of ling mixed in was good to see as it took up some of the gaps...We actually caught quite a few ling,,we also had some nice Codfsih,,alot of nice blackfish we had to throw back,,,and some nice fluke.THE BOTTOM WAS ALIVE!!.So like I said,,I was happy with the fishing that we had for a large crowd,,,just some did better than others..Check out some of the pics from today,some real quality fish onboard..,,,tomorrow looks real nice and we heading back out there!!See ya for coffee..
