05/13/15 Capt. Paul had the John Bromely charter on board the Bounty Hunter. Filling out John's crew were Ron, Joe, Steve, Ron & Joe. Paul ran to the south looking to find the bait and warm water. It turned out to be a futile effort as the water temp at IBSP was 52 degrees with no signs of bait. An hour of Trolling produced "Zero". After a long ride back to the north they finally found 57 Degree water with some bait reads at the Rocks. Trolling Spoons produced over a dozen large Blues and finally a 22 lb. Striped Bass. 8 Blues were kept and the rest released. We are sailing Open Boat Striped Bass trips on May 23rd & 25th. The 24th is now full.
