Sea Bass, Porgies & Blackfish also we will make a quick stop if we see bass that we can jig

Saturday we had out the Kris Hunter crew and the weather was great. We headed right to where we had good fishing only to find that the sharks took over that area. We headed a little offshore and had a slow pick of sea bass, few porgies & blackfish and 2 keeper cod. Overall it was a nice day with a great group of people. Today we had a nice crowd onboard and found the ocean to be pretty rough which definitely slowed the fishing a lot. We caught a few sea bass on each drop and then the Sharks would find us so we had to move on. The last spot we caught a few blackfish with Ray catching the pool winning tog around 4 to 5lbs. Overall today the fishing was slow but should improve with calmer seas this Wednesday. We will have clams & crabs for bait. If you have a spinning rod or a rod you can cast out a jig bring it with you just incase we see birds working with fish under them. If we see some like I did today we will stop and make a few drifts and see if we can add a few bass to our catch. Pics on Facebook. See you soon. Thanks Capt.Mike
