There may be a brief window of opportunity for anglers this week before the predicted weekend snow storm. There's a good forecast for Thursday, and mackerel fishermen can take advantage of that aboard the Golden Eagle from Belmar that will be sailing at 7:30 a.m. Even though the snow is supposed to start on Friday, it now appears that won't occur until after midnight -- while light north winds are predicted for Friday morning.
