Captain's Focus

8-30-13 We started out with much nicer ocean conditions today.Still a small ground swell but alot nicer than yesterday...We headed offshore a ways to start considering what we had yesterday out here and had life pretty quick..Short fluke were coming up and eventually we started to see some nice keepers as well..We drifted slowly with the current and not much wind and kept picking at fish slowly around the boat,,not good but at least we were seeing some nice fish come up here and there inbetween the shorts..Then the breeze picked up and basically stopped us dead in our tracks...Kinda just spun us around a bit and pushed us along a little but overall it just kinda hurt the fishing we had...Jocko ended up having the high hook with four nice fluke and maybe the pool,,its a big one today worth 710 bucks!!Some others had two and three kepeers,,some one,,some had no keepers,,,So overall a big improvement from yesterday but still not thrilled about what we ended up keeping..Tomorrow looks like its gonna be nice again!!See ya in the morning...
