Captain's Focus

Action from start to finish on today's trip.

With the conditions the same as yesterday, we decided to fish down the beach again. Glad we did as the wind didn't blow as hard as yesterday but still would have not produced half of what we caught today, fishing In the Bay.

Very good short action with some nice keepers mixed in through-out the day. Many customers had 2 nice fish for dinner along with a bunch of shorts. High Hook guys had 3 in the cooler.  Couple 3- 5 pound fish in the mix with the pool fish making just under 6 pounds.

Current ran hard to the North and you needed the weight to hold, even tight to the beach. Buck tail guys did much better  and the bait worked well also. Naturally when we got to the dock there was hardly a Breeze!!

Back at it tomorrow as the weather looks Great!  CHARTERED SUNDAY MORNING.

Capt. Dan is starting to see more Bass each night now, last nights trip produced 14 fish between the keepers and Shorts in all that wind! Sailing Monday-Saturday 6:30pm till 11:30pm and Sunday Afternoon 3:30pm till 9:00pm. Fare is $55.
