Updated 6/27/14I know people are always looking for fishing reports and they are important for most types of fish but Fluke are in place now for the whole season and the catches depend entirely on drifting conditions.At this time about one out of 6 Fluke are a keeper.
Updated 6 15 14Well I have not had to much to report but I did just get a report from our Blue Fish fleet and they are catching Blues around the Barnegat Ridge, this is the best news I have had in a long time. We have nice weather for tonight so Im full of high hopes.
The water warmed up pretty good over the last couple days and the Sea Bass and Fluke are biting better. Some very nice size Fluke are were caught today.
ell we are into our Summer Fluke season now and we did have some keeper Fluke, some through backs and also some jSea Bass. The action is on the slow side but should improve as the water warms up.

We picked some fish on Monday but it was on the slow side, Tuesday we tried a different area and it was even slower, and on Wednesday we found much better fishing, we even had a couple Cod mixed in. Well this coming weekend will be our last weekend, the Blackfish season ends May 1st. The water temps should warm up this week and Im sure with warmer water we will see better fishing.
